If the alarm is activated via the PIN pad, an activation delay can be set. This means that after entering the PIN, the alarm is not activated immediately, but only after a certain time. This allows to make some actions before the alarm is executed, e.g. open the front door and leave the house.

To set an activation delay, go to Settings → Alarm. Select absence or presence mode and tap “Activation Delay”. Set the desired time and save it.

Attention: The activation delay only applies when the alarm is activated using the PIN pad, but not when the alarm is activated using an alarm key. With an alarm key the alarm can be activated / deactivated directly from outside.
