To teach-in IR commands of a IR remote control, go to main menu –> Add Device and assign a room..

Now select IR Signal as device type …


… and IR/RF Remote Control.

First enter a name for your IR Device, select an icon and define, if the IR commands shall be transmitted via inertnal transmitter of the AIO GATEWAY or via external wired IR Transmitters (which can be connected to the gateway on the backside). You can also choose an icon that will represent your IR Remote Control in the app. In the next step you define the Buttons of your Remote Control in IQONTROL NEO. You can choose a remote control template or choose each button seperately in the next step. With Preview you can see the design of the different templates. After choosing your Remote Control settings tap Save. In the following step you can teach-in the IR commands one by one. Tap Add Code to teach-in each IR code on your Remote Control.

Select a button, tap Learn IR Code and press the appropriate button on your Remote Control. If the code is successfully learned, it appears in the field IR Code . Tap Save.

Already assigned icons get a thicker white border, so you do not accidentally assign them several times.

Your Remote Control can be found under Devices–> Switches or in the room you chose during the teach-in process. You can use the remote control buttons directly on the device overview or open the menu of the device ( three points on the right) to access the entire remote control.
