Integrate IP AV-Receiver via plugins

If you have activated the appropriate plug-in, you can easily integrate network-enabled AV receiver (i.e. Denon, Pioneer, Yamaha, Marantz…) into NEO and control them comfortably via IP. You can also use status feedbacks to show the current operating status of the receiver.

Import your AV-receiver
To import the receiver automatically please go to the devices tab of the device manager and click the „import devices“ button. A menu opens, where you have to select your receiver brand under “device type”. Now the receiver will be detected and you can import it.

Please note:

• Devices only can be imported automatically, if they are connected to the same subnet as the computer on which the AIO CREATOR NEO software is running. If the gateway is not detected automatically, you can integrate it manually by clicking the button “New device” in Device Manager.
• The Parameter “Model” and “ID” are filled in automatically during the import process. These parameters are not relevant for the manual integration.

Integrate your AV-receiver manually
To integrate the receiver manually please go to the devices tab of the device manager. Click the „add device“ button, enter a name and select the room. Don't select a gateway (the dropdown must display “—”). Now choose your AV-Receiver for “type”.

Example: If you want to integrate a Denon AV-Receiver you have to select “Denon AV Receiver (plugin)” for “type”.

Finally enter IP-address and Port-Number.

Note: If you have activated a AV-Receiver plugin a new special remote element will appear in the elements menu.
