The alarm is divided into presence and absence mode.

The presence mode refers to all sensors that protect the outer skin of a building, e.g. the window sensors of all outside windows, as well as motion detectors in the outside area. The presence mode can be activated if the residents of the house are at home and do not plan to leave the building, e.g. at night.

All sensors of the outer skin as well as internal motion detectors and door / window sensors are referred to as absence mode. The absence mode is activated when the residents of the house are not at home and full surveillance of the house is necessary.

Presence and absence mode can be configured separately and do not have to be operated together.
